What is the Squamish Social Planning Council?

The Social Planning Council is a local democratic system/group that facilitates the setting of priorities, building consensus and taking action in support of community social needs and interests. It provides an ongoing, organized presence in the local community and attempts to address social needs, issues and opportunities on both a short and long term basis.
